Red Marker is undergoing some exciting enhancements, both aesthetically and for ease of use. The functionality remains the same and we've made three main changes detailed below:

  • Navigation Menu: Now positioned on the top left hand side of the page

  • Upload Document Button: Now positioned on the top left hand side of the page

  • Risk Pane and Rules: Now positioned on the right hand side of the review page

NEW! Navigation Menu

We have simplified the layout of the Red Marker Document page by repositioning the navigation menu to the left hand side of the page. This is where you can find your upload document button as well as the links to your Documents, Web Reports, Performance Page, Rule List and Users.

Note: Your user permission settings may effect your ability to view or access certain reporting content.

Tip: To collapse this menu, press the hamburger menu icon
(three lines next to the Red Marker logo)

The Search Documents functionality and Advanced Filter options are located in the top right hand side. Now you can easily search documents or filter by document creator, date range and pending or reviewed status.

Uploading a Document

Uploading a document remains the same with Drag and Drop or Select File functionality.

If your organisation has deployed categorisation with Red Marker, the categorisation menu will appear after you have uploaded your document.

Tip: You won't be able to review the document until the categories have been selected.

Review Page

The Risk Pane has been repositioned to the right hand side of the page for ease of review.

NEW! Document Summary
We've introduced a Document Summary section above the list of highlighted risks to give an overview of what type of risks are most present in the document.

Tip: Use the the double rectangle menu icon to open up a rule by rule view of the risk pane

Actions Menu
The Actions Menu is now accessible by clicking on the ellipsis next to the Mark As Reviewed button. Within this dropdown, you'll have access to functions such as: Share, Download Original, Download an Annotated PDF, Print, Delete and retrieve the Document Information.

Tip: to ensure you have the best experience using the new UI, please ensure you use Google Chrome, Adobe Acrobat and have minimum screen resolution of 1440x900.
