There is no limit on how many documents you can send into Red Marker, and these can be attached to one email.

Note: Each document will be reviewed by Red Marker individually, so you may experience a delay in receiving the annotated PDFs from Red Marker if you are sending multiple documents attached to one email.

File Size

  • Sending Files to Red Marker: There is a 20MB size limit on individual documents being sent to Red Marker for review.

  • Receiving files from Red Marker: There is a 10MB size limit on individual documents being sent from Red Marker via email.

    • Note: If the document emailed to Red Marker was not a PDF, the Red Marker App will convert the document to PDF. This 10MB limit on emails sent to users from the Red Marker App applies after the file has been converted to PDF.

For more information about limits on documents that may be reviewed in the Red Marker Application, including via the email in feature, see Red Marker Compatibility, Recommendations and Limits.

If your document is:

  • below 20MB when you email it to the Red Marker App; and

  • over 10MB after the App (converts the file to PDF format and) adds annotations about identified risks,

Red Marker will email you a link to the reviewed document in the Red Marker App.
