How are the Red Marker rules ordered in the risk review columns?

Red Marker offers two viewing panes for reviewing the rules that have triggered on your document. The first rule pane, under Document Summary on the right side of the Red Marker page, is standard and always present.

These rules are ordered as follows:

  • Rules (disclaimers and advisory rules) are listed first as ‘overall document’ rules.

  • Rules thereafter are listed by page and in chronological order from top of the document to the bottom of the document.

Red Marker also offers an additional, optional, rule-by-rule view pane for ease of review. This rule pane allows you to view the number of times a rule has triggered (as indicated by the number is the small blue bubble) as well as the rule number and short description assigned to each rule. This also allows the reviewer to see a full view of all rules that have triggered on a document.

These rules are ordered as follows:

  • Rules are collected into subgroups (shown under 'Live' and 'Disclaimer Rules' , etc. in optional viewing pane)

  • Within each subgroup, the rules are in the reverse order, based on the final trigger for that rule. The FIRST rule is the rule with the LAST trigger in the document, the second rule is the rule with the second last trigger in the document, etc.
