Frequently asked questions

What happens if I download the annotated PDF?

Due to limitations with the PDF format, the annotated PDF does not have the grouped risks functionality. Risks are shown individually rather than grouped.

What happens for very long sentences?

To avoid displaying an overwhelming amount of content to users, we show only the relevant excerpt surrounding the trigger term or phrase.

Help! There’s weird text showing around the highlighted term/ phrase.

Grouped risks display the text surrounding the highlighted trigger term or phrase.

Infrequently, special characters and hidden document formatting can cause strange text to be displayed in the grouped risk.

Please contact us at support@redmarker.ai with a link to your review and document so we can investigate.

Can the grouped risks feature be turned on for all risks in Red Marker?

Grouped risks are configured on a rule-by-rule basis, in consultation with our Client Success and Implementations teams. If you have identified a rule which would be a good candidate, let us know.

Are there any changes to reporting?

No. Each risk in the group is treated the same as all other risks within Red Marker. Replies and dismissals are recorded for every individual risk, whether the risk is displayed to the user in a group or not.

Can I see a list of rules with grouped risks enabled?

Our Client Success and Implementation teams can help you understand which rules have grouped risks enabled.

Is this available in PowerPoint, Google Docs or Figma?

This feature is not currently available in PowerPoint or Google Docs. If you are interested in this feature, please contact us at support@redmarker.ai and we’d love to talk to you further.

Due to differences in the way the Figma plug in operates, we will not be rolling this feature out for Figma.
