Make it easier to share the feedback on your PowerPoint documents by inserting the Red Marker feedback into the document. This means you no longer have to send your document to Red Marker and download the annotated PDF, if you need to share or escalate a document, that includes the Red Marker feedback.

Review your document in PowerPoint, using the Red Marker Add-In as you normally would. Your feedback will be displayed in the review pane on the right.

To insert the feedback into Red Marker, click the feedback block - it will expand and give you the option to 'Insert Comment' via an icon in the bottom left corner of the feedback block.

When you click the icon, the feedback will be inserted into the PowerPoint document as a textbox. The textbox will be added to the top right hand corner of the slide that the feedback refers to.

From here, the comment becomes part of the document and is no longer attached to Red Marker.

You can edit or delete the text box as required. The textbox will remain in the document if you close the Red Marker Add-In, or save or download the document!

Tip! You can use the the ellipsis (3 dot menu) in the top right hand corner of the Red Marker Add-In to 'Insert All Comments'. This will insert all the Red Marker feedback as comments in one go. Be mindful that if you have already inserted a comment individually and then 'Insert All Comments', there will be duplicate comments in your document.

Tip! If you insert the feedback, but do not change the content in the document, and then re-review the document using the Red Marker PowerPoint Add-In, the feedback will still appear in the review pane.
